How do you decide what to keep offsite? Like obviously my photos but lossless rips of mass produced CDs I have stored in bins seems like overkill.</p>

Jonathan Matthews<p>I'm looking for <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/podcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>podcast</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/datahoarding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>datahoarding</span></a> tool recommendations.</p><p>I'm trying to find something which:<br>- takes a pod's <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/RSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSS</span></a> feed<br>- downloads the audio enclosures ("MP3 files")<br>... and then emits a modified RSS feed with just the audio file URLs updated - so I can give the new feed to my off-the-shelf podcast client and it'll fetch the audio from my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/archive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>archive</span></a>.</p><p>I've found tools that "archive" podcasts, but none that allow the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/archives" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>archives</span></a> to be fed to a standard client. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/podcasting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>podcasting</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/archivebox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>archivebox</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/podgrab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>podgrab</span></a></p>
