skoot<p>First dark world boss down! I did have to look up a guide to get through the dark palace and it turned out that I was just missing a few simple things. The boss took me a few tries to beat and I'm very thankful for save states so I could just reload right before entering the boss room lol</p><p>That's it for tonight. I now have it completely filled, though not especially efficiently, with 38 kegs. These should really help get me to that cellar upgrade sooner than later. Then I can *really* rake in the dough!</p><p>Went ahead and bought my first cow this month, instead of waiting for winter. I figured it might be good to get it started producing for me before I'm out of crops to sell.</p><p>I also managed to get into a third box in that cave Grandpa made me. I made a decent profit from my crops this month, but I'll definitely need to focus on *just* farming if I expect to make it big that way. Fortunately, I don't care to make it big, so I'll just continue my rather wide focus, including growing crops, raising animals, mining, fishing, and general forage. I'm making a life here in Stardew, not just a business.</p><p>This last week of spring was much more relaxed than most weeks, due to the fact there were only a few days left worth planting crops. Stardew's extreme climate changes at the turn of the season means almost nothing lives past the end of a season, so 🤷</p><p>Finally got my pickaxe upgraded to iridium this week. Took me *ages* to collect enough ore for it. I built myself a seed maker, so I've been spending some time carefully organizing my seeds and making new ones as needed. I like to be as self-sufficient as possible with that sort of thing. According to the manual, I should spend about half my produce making new seeds if I want to keep up with what I harvest.</p><p>I also won a few kegs from the mayor's prize booth! Got them set up making some wine from a few of the powdermelons I harvested last month.</p><p>My tiny little house is starting to get pretty damn crowded now with those 4 kegs, 3 preserve jars, 2 fridges and the multitude of chests I've got my goods organized into.
