Like most things worth doing, start small, do a little but do it consistently, see immediate benefits. They soon become cumulative.</p><p>Fifteen years ago I was on a path to self-isolation like many men fall into. My wife goaded and supported me into cultivating a number of good friends, a good <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/sangha" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sangha</span></a>, local volunteer circles. Spaces like this one, especially the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Emacs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Emacs</span></a> community.</p><p>If it worked for me it can for you too. I promise it's only a little effort.</p>
