abolitionmedia<p><strong>Hamas has Rebuilt Forces to Over 25,000 Fighters</strong></p><p></p> <p>A group of Zionist Knesset members (MKs) said on 16 March that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have “restored their military strength” in Gaza and that the occupatiuon military has failed to achieve its war goals amid stalled ceasefire negotiations, Zionist newspaper <i>Walla </i>reported.</p><p>“In recent days, we have been informed that the military strength of Hamas and Islamic Jihad has been restored, such that Hamas has over 25,000 and Islamic Jihad has over 5,000 armed terrorists,” stated the Knesset members.</p><p>The MKs, including opposition members of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, made the claim in a petition they sent calling for an urgent committee hearing with the participation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and War Minister Israel Katz.</p><p>A committee hearing is necessary due to the “failure to achieve the war’s goals and the harm to security and national interests.”</p><p>MKs Gadi Eisenkot, Ram Ben Barak, Meir Cohen, Elazar Stern, Moshe Tor Paz, Sharon Nir, and Merv Michaeli signed the petition.</p><p>“In the past month, the ‘Israeli’ government has not fulfilled its responsibility as the supreme commander of the IDF, and is not advancing the war goals of returning the kidnapped and destroying Hamas’ military and governmental power,” the petition stated.</p><p>The MKs further claimed that Netanyahu and his ministers are acting in violation of war cabinet decisions to “realize the goal of returning the abductees” and to immediately conscript ultra-Orthodox Jewish men studying the Torah in religious schools known as Yeshivas.</p><p>Efforts to exchange Zionist captives in Gaza for Palestinians in occupation prisons have stalled in recent weeks, with the regime refusing to move to the next phase of a ceasefire agreement reached with the Palestinian resistance in January.</p><p>Late on Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed Zionist negotiators to continue the negotiations based on a proposal by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff that calls for the “immediate release of 11 living hostages and half of the deceased hostages.”</p><p>Earlier, Hamas said it was ready to accept a previous proposal from US envoy Adam Boehler, which called for the release of a living Zionist-US soldier, Edan Alexander, along with the bodies of four other dual-US citizens in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.</p><p>After Boehler held direct talks with Hamas officials, occupation leaders became angry, and President Donald Trump removed him from his position.</p><p>Hamas is seeking a permanent end to the war, a complete Zionist withdrawal from Gaza, the reopening of border crossings for aid, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.</p><p>The regime is seeking to extend the first phase until mid-April and insists that any transition to the second phase must include “the total demilitarization” of Gaza.</p><p>Despite the existing ceasefire, the Zionist military continues to conduct near-daily air strikes in Gaza.</p><p>On Saturday, Zionist airstrikes in the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza <a href="https://thecradle.co/articles/israel-kills-multiple-humanitarian-workers-journalists-in-gaza-airstrike" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">killed</a> nine people, including aid workers and Palestinian journalists. abolitionmedia<p><strong>Palestinian Resistance Swaps 3 Zionists Prisoners for 110 Palestinian Hostages</strong></p><p></p><p>The Palestinian Resistance released three Zionist captives in the third round of the first phase of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, in addition to five Thai nationals.</p><p>Agam Berger, Arbel Yehud, and Gadi Mozes were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in a public show of force and public solidarity with the Resistance.</p><p></p><p>Thai nationals Thenna Pongsak, Sathian Suwannakham, Sriaoun Watchara, Seathao Bannawat, and Rumnao Surasak were also released as part of the exchange process.</p><p>The occupation military later confirmed that the released of the Zionists captives were received by the occupation army and the Shin Bet in the designated area in the Gaza Strip.</p><p>Crowds filled the two handover locations, north and south of the Gaza Strip, including just outside martyred leader Yahya Sinwar’s destroyed residence in Khan Younis, where the Resistance flags were flown.</p><p></p><p>The al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades and the al-Mujahideen Brigades said their groups participated alongside the al-Qassam Brigades and the al-Quds Brigades in the handover process from in front of martyr Sinwar’s house, according to the brigades’ spokespeople Abu Ataya and Abu Bilal respectively.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The Palestinian resistance secured the release of 110 Palestinian prisoners from Zionist jails on Thursday as part of the third phase of the first stage of the prisoner exchange deal.</p><p>Thousands of Palestinians gathered at the Ramallah Recreational Complex in the occupied West Bank to welcome the freed detainees</p><p>Among those released were 32 prisoners serving life sentences, 48 others with various sentences, and 30 minors. This transfer marks the second stage of prisoner-captive exchange under the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, with preparations underway for the release of 200 Palestinian detainees.</p><p>The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, delivered the soldiers, dressed in military uniforms, to Red Cross representatives.</p><p>The female soldiers were seen standing alongside Resistance fighters on a platform, where an official handover agreement was signed between a representative from al-Qassam and one from the Red Cross.</p><p><strong>A display of the power of victory</strong></p><p>The handover was preceded by the deployment of numerous fighters from both the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades in central Gaza City. abolitionmedia<p><strong>Gaza Resistance Eliminates 24 Zionist Soldiers Since Start of November</strong></p><p></p><p>Zionist media reported that 24 Zionist soldiers have been eliminated in northern Gaza since the beginning of November, five of whom were killed in the Jabalia refugee camp on Monday.</p><p>The Palestinian Resistance continues confronting the invading forces, particularly in north Gaza, destroying their military vehicles and engaging their soldiers at point-blank, achieving direct hits and fatalities among their ranks.</p><p><strong>Al-Qassam’s operations</strong></p><p>The Martyr izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed Tuesday responsibility for the Jabalia operation, announcing that its fighters detonated a highly explosive device inside a home in the al-Qasasib neighborhood, the moment 10 soldiers raided it, killing and wounding them.</p><p>Al-Qassam also announced the execution of a complex operation, during which its fighters sniped a Zionist soldier and targeted an infantry force with two anti-personnel charges, confirming casualties among its soldiers.</p><p>Another infantry force that had taken refuge inside a house in the al-Qasasib neighborhood in Jabalia camp was targeted with an anti-personnel shell.</p><p>The Resistance fighters additionally launched a TBG anti-fortification shell at an infantry force of seven soldiers inside a house in Beit Lahia, north Gaza, then engaged them at point-blank using machine guns and hand grenades, eliminating the force.</p><p>The al-Qassam Brigades also targeted a Merkava tank using an improvised explosive device (IED), in addition to targeting a military D9 bulldozer with a Tandem charge. In one operation, fighters launched a barrage of rockets at the Avital site, a technical and electronic reconnaissance center in the occupied Syrian Golan, marking the first assault on this facility. camp.</p><p><strong>Sirens sounding in envelope settlements</strong></p><p>Meanwhile, Zionist media reported that air raid sirens were activated in the settlement of Mefalsim near the Gaza Strip.</p><p>As fighting escalated in both the north and south, Zionist forces confirmed that one soldier was injured in the Gaza Strip, part of a total of 14 soldiers wounded today, with 13 injuries reported on the northern front near Lebanon.</p><p>The occupation forces allowed the publication of the killing of a soldier from the 450th Battalion in the ongoing battles in the southern Gaza Strip.</p><p><strong>Hezbollah lauches attacks</strong></p><p>Fighters from the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon engaged in intense confrontations with occupation forces near the town of al-Qawzah at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Military Media.</p><p>Hezbollah fought at close range, using various types of machine guns, resulting in several deaths and injuries among the occupation forces.</p><p>Reports in South Lebanon confirmed that Hezbollah had ambushed a Zionist force in al-Qawzah, causing casualties among its soldiers.</p><p>At 5:40 pm, Hezbollah also announced that they targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers between the towns of Odeisseh and Markaba with a rocket salvo.</p><p>Simultaneously, the correspondent reported that confrontations continued near the Ayta al-Shaab-Ramyah-al-Qawzah triangle, with Zionistnhelicopters conducting extensive flights over the area.</p><p>Reportedly, Zionist helicopters made repeated attempts to evacuate the dead and wounded officers and soldiers from the battle zones in Ayta al-Shaab, Ramyah, and al-Qawzah, according to the correspondent.</p><p>Meanwhile, Zionist media reported that a large number of military helicopters landed at several hospitals.</p><p>Zionist media reports indicated that eight helicopters landed at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, while others arrived at Beilinson and Tel Hashomer hospitals.</p><p>A total of 44 soldiers were evacuated to Rambam, and five others to Beilinson, following the ambush and confrontations in South Lebanon, according to <em>Channel 13</em>.</p><p>The occupation’s military imposed censorship preventing the publication of further details about the “tough security incident” in South Lebanon.</p><p>As the confrontations in al-Qawzah continued, and Hezbollah continued to repel the occupation forces’s repeated incursions, inflicting more casualties, the Zionist forces have not yet reached the strategic heights deemed critical by the Zionist army in the battle.</p><p>Later in the night, the occupation admitted that 5 Israeli occupation soldiers and officers were killed during confrontations along the northern front without specifying the area where they were killed.</p><p><strong>War could lead to ‘Israel’s’ resounding failure: Ex-intelligence chief</strong></p><p>Without contemplating the endgame of the ongoing battle, the regime is facing an endless war that will lead to a resounding strategic failure, potentially destroying its relative superiority, warned Tamir Hayman, former head of the Zionist Military Intelligence Directorate AMAN.</p><p>Hayman pointed out that “although Hezbollah has been dealt a significant blow and Hamas has suffered considerable damage, the worst-case scenario remains possible.”</p><p>“The battlefield achievements could dissipate if Israel does not make the right decision,” the former Israeli military official added.</p><p>His remarks align with those of Shon Revin, a former senior official in the Shin Bet and a lieutenant colonel in the reserve forces, who underscored that “Hezbollah’s ability to recover is very rapid, even if Israel has targeted many of its capabilities.”</p><p>“For days now, we’ve seen various generals claiming that we’ve almost eliminated Hezbollah, that we’ve destroyed 70% of its capabilities, but that’s clearly not the case… we must take that into account,” the former official told Israeli <em>Channel 14</em>.</p><p>Revin described the Lebanese Resistance group as “a powerful organization with a structured command, well-organized, equipped, armed, and trained.”</p><p>The former Shin Bet official also expressed doubt that the strikes carried out against Hezbollah would subdue the group, saying, “Even if we hit the command and control chain hard, they still have significant capabilities.”</p><p>Hezbollah executed two consecutive operations, where two Merkava tanks were completely destroyed in South Lebanon, early on Thursday.</p><p>Hezbollah’s operations come amid fierce battles that the Resistance has engaged in on multiple axes across the border area in southern Lebanon and a renewed Zionist infiltration attempt into the town of al-Labbouneh on the Western Axis.</p><p>The rugged area located near the Mediterranean coast and the the Lebanese-Palestinian border has been a key point for armored advances into Lebanon, however, has also seen the destruction of multiple armored vehicles.</p><p>At 12:50 am (local time), Hezbollah’s anti-armor units fired an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at a Merkava main battle tank, that had taken position on the al-Labbouneh Hill. Hezbollah’s fighters recorded a direct impact, which set the tank ablaze, killing and injuring its crew members.</p><p>Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon reported that military vehicles had caught fire in the same area, adding that military rescue teams were not able to reach the casualties.</p><p>Soon after, Hezbollah’s Military Media released another statement, revealing that Resistance fighters had fired another ATGM at a second Merkava tank in al-Labbouneh Hill, at 2:00 am.
