Did you know that rides to and from medical appointments are covered? If you take a cab or a rideshare, submit your receipts. As long as they clearly state that they are taking you to a hospital or doctors office or bringing you home from such place, your worker will reimburse your fair. Also, if an abled friend or family member takes you to an appointment where they have to pay for parking, if you submit that receipt the parking fee fees will be covered as well.</p>

In my 2nd year at a <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://bird.makeup/users/hopecornerstone" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>hopecornerstone</span></a></span> shelter, I found out my application was never sent to the city the year before. I was assigned a <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/CMHA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CMHA</span></a> social worker in January 2017. By June, I had a <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/CCOC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CCOC</span></a> apartment with a 'Home 4 Good' monthly benefit; by the fall, I was on <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/ODSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ODSP</span></a>; by the end of year, I'd quit cigarettes. I couldn't work anymore but was able to retire (way before 65) without losing my home again. Still poor.</p>

Ariadne<p>More horrid news - <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/SaudiArabia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SaudiArabia</span></a> is driving a huge <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/global" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>global</span></a> investment plan to create demand for its <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/oil" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>oil</span></a> and <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/gas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gas</span></a> in developing countries, an undercover investigation has revealed. Critics said the plan was designed to get countries “hooked on its harmful products”."</p><p>Jut like <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/tobacco" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tobacco</span></a>, no? (I am personally hooked on tobacco, so I know what I'm talking about)</p><p>Little was known about the oil demand sustainability programme ( <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/ODSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ODSP</span></a> ) but the investigation obtained detailed information on plans to drive up the use of <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/FossilFuel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FossilFuel</span></a> - powered cars, buses and planes in <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/Africa" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Africa</span></a> and elsewhere, as <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/rich" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rich</span></a> countries increasingly switch to clean energy.</p><p>The <a href="https://climatejustice.social/tags/ODSP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ODSP</span></a> plans to accelerate the development of supersonic air travel, which it notes uses three times more jet fuel than conventional planes, and partner with a carmaker to mass produce a cheap combustion engine vehicle.
