iN8sWoRLd<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@codemonkeymike" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>codemonkeymike</span></a></span> I've been running a couple ASUS C202sa chromebooks with firmware from <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/mrchromebox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mrchromebox</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/endeavoros" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>endeavoros</span></a> (one KDE and one i3) and they are my go-to devices. Not fast but usable, biggest issue is that they only have 4GB ram. I'll look into the Lenovo Flex 5, thanks!</p>

Success! And a very nice Debian based distro without the systemd overhead. <a href="https://mas.to/tags/icewm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>icewm</span></a> boots to 140mb.</p><p>Now if I can figure out how to get the latest <a href="https://mas.to/tags/MrChromebox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MrChromebox</span></a> firmware and replace an this aged <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Seamonkey" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Seamonkey</span></a> based firmware, I'd be set.</p>
