sport of sacred spherical cows<p>A solution for the challenge of taking off and putting on one's round-the-head-strap N95/FFP3, when getting in and out of places quickly, while having, y'know, hair:</p><p>Don't.</p><p>You can just leave it on.</p><p>Really, you can.</p><p>You can benefit from the <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/health" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>health</span></a> and <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/safety" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>safety</span></a> (and participate in the <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/HealthEquity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HealthEquity</span></a>) of wearing an actual N95/FFP3 mask, with straps and everything, and do your <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/antifascism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>antifascism</span></a> indoors and out.</p><p>This is advice from someone who has, y'know, hair.</p><p>Added bonus: If you take the time to put it on with proper fit the once, and then keep it on, you can be confident you haven't put it on with poor fit the second, third, or nth-time round of off-again/on-again.</p><p>This is a <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/CovidIsNotOver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CovidIsNotOver</span></a> subtoot. As am really not interested in getting in an argument with anyone today.</p><p>That said, if someone wants to pass along the recommendation of the 3M VFlex, my understanding is that this is highly recommended for folk with small-ish faces. Even if it is a proper N95 with around-the-head straps.</p>
