Anthony WatkinsWhen I was little, boxing was a huge spectator sport, but over the years its reputation for damaging the players has led to its near demise. the popularity of Football in America is no excuse to keep it around as we are injuring so many of its players.Unless there is a way to redesign the game to prevent most head contacts, (current efforts have failed) there is no excuse to continue to play football. Anthony WatkinsOf all major organized team sports Rugby is by far the most likely to create serious head injury, though Rugby is a very minor sport compared to American football or soccer, so the raw numbers of head injuries is much higher in both football and soccer.
