Kinda? And (I am genuinely afraid to admit this in public) Prometheus is….kind of now a comfort Christmas movie for me? There’s so many pretty people! Being so stupid! And celebrating the birth of a…well, definitely a birth happens!</p><p>And this was very…movie-shaped object with so much frankly nonsensical fanservice it felt like a modern Star Wars film, and also I can’t decide if it’s good or bad that it felt like a shot-for-shot live action remake of Alien: Isolation, and apparently planetary rings are…like….solid flat rings that one can run into like asphalt (pretty sure that’s not how they work yo)…and the kids are so very people-shaped objects. It couldn’t even stick the dawning horror of Alien/Aliens of the slow realization that W-Y WANTED the xenomorph because capitalism! And that’s like Millennials-and-younger’s bread and butter! Because 3 days ago, Spotify told me that there was a new Covenant single called "Dark Matter". And it's a quite aggressive Drum&Bass thing.. good, mind you, but surprising.
