We played two 2-hour sessions with four players, of which only one played TRPG before. Overall, it went pretty well!The art and the level of detail of the starter box is fantastic! I definitely felt the immersion into the noir aesthetic. The starter adventure - Shark Tank - has a lot of neat details.The power tags system did take a while to get used to both by me and players.Overall, 4/5 power tags

He is a hustler and con man who is also a sometimes avatar of Son Wukong.He is a member of "The Chang Gang" that operates out of Little Seoul in New Atlantis, a city constructed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Bathroom QuestJ'ai testé <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CityofMist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CityofMist</a> hier et c'est la première fois qu'un jeu <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PBTA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PBTA</a> clique à ce point pour moi. La façon de résoudre les actions en équipe, la manière d'obtenir des indices sur l'enquête, l'ambiance et les personnages, tout m'a donné envie d'enchainer direct sur une 2e partie. Mon seul regret : comme la résolution du jeu est assez méta, j'étais moins engagé émotionnellement dans mon personnage que j'en ai l'habitude.

A cool mechanic and how it manifested in the gameAt character creation, <a href="https://ludosphere.fr/tags/CityOfMist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CityOfMist</a> asks "Who are you?" in 4 parts. As you play, the choices you make will check against this, strengthening or weakening these 4 aspects of your character. Which leads to changing or erasing them. This is very powerful. It makes me sometimes choose a different path because I don't want my PC to change _this_ or _like that_. To stay true to them. Great ttrpg 1st played this year.I don't have anything in that category. And the two last great games I played before 23 are unpublished. And before that, I am not so sure. So I'll fall back to <a href="https://ludosphere.fr/tags/CityOfMist" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CityOfMist</a> which I started in April 22, which is really great and my 22's game of the year. Campaign starting back next week, I can't wait!It will also fit quite nicely with prompt #2 🙂

Mystery solving while embodying a legendary archetype is a quick and dirty way to describe it. One of the crew types you can create is “criminals”. There was talk among my players about adapting our Leverage game into CoM. We didn’t, but with some squinting and judicious modification of the setting, we probably could have.

Das ist der erste Kickstarter, den ich richtig gespannt verfolgt habe, weil ich mich zum einen sehr auf das Resultat freue und es zum anderen echt spannend war, ob der Kickstarter es überhaupt schafft. In den letzten Tagen zog er dann aber noch mal richtig an. 😊 Das Setting und die Idee, wie Charaktere da funktionieren, finde ich ziemlich cool. Gab jetzt auch ein paar sehr schöne Spielrunden dazu.
