Jake in the desert<p>I don't really dig intros, and that's why this week's <a href="https://c.im/tags/ThursDeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ThursDeath</span></a> is unique. In the grand tradition of fine Scandinavian metal before them, Helsinki, Finland's AZATOTH are a fairly new band. But their EP 'Ungodly Carnage' from 2022 is DRIPPING with slime and rot in under 20 minutes- just how I like it. SUPERBLY putrid stuff. </p><p>From the scuzzy solos to yes, the very cool intro (for once!)
