Skye.Aeon<p>My Elephant trunk nebula <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/photo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photo</span></a> from a few months ago. Shot on a QHY183m camera and some <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Antlia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Antlia</span></a> narrowband filters all mounted to my <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/explorescientific" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>explorescientific</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/telescope" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>telescope</span></a>. I ended up shooting this over several weekends to get enough data, about 12ish hours. Since it was monochrome, I ended up assigning my narrowband (Oiii, Sii, Ha) into a SHO style palette, in place of RGB to create a hubble style color image 👏 Honestly this was a ton of fun, and I can’t wait to shoot more narrowband stuff! </p><p>Dropping this again because I forgot my <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/alttext" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>alttext</span></a> 😭 sorry y’all<br><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/astronomy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>astronomy</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/space" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>space</span></a></p>
