📢 📢 📢 Today we publish an Open Letter from developers to the #Linux #community regarding shipping unfinished patches to users.

Shipping unfinished patches harms the user experience and slows down the review process in #FOSS projects to improve the patches.

You can read our Open Letter at:

If you agree with this letter, you can support it by signing it, see:

I've now added a section to a really old post:

The flatpak section now only needs an overhaul regarding --user, other flatpak sources (e.g. elementary, gnome-nightly) and then it can hopefully become a part of Docs section.

Is there an intention to also make a variant QuartzPro64 board in your “A” form factor? It’s been nice having consistent form factors available.

If not, would it not make more sense to use the Mini-ITX form factor (170mm x 170mm) instead of 180mm x 180mm? Designing it around an existing industry standard would open up a lot more off-the-shelf options for enclosures.

Regardless, I’m looking forward to this powerhouse to get added to the pine64 lineup.

In case you missed it, QuartzPro64 dev orders are now live!

Someone just came into the Pinephone chatroom to share a "snake game"... claiming it was their first attempt at making a game.

Problem was, this was *malware*. Created using bashfuscator. 😈

(that's one of his nickname "grosse pa-patte" (big pa-paw))

So let me get this straight.

1: you put SSNs in plaintext on a web page
2: you get mad that someone clicked "view source"
3: your actual Highway Patrol patrols the information superhighway?
