@saper +1. I've asked syuilo about making recaptcha optional and got the reply that so it will be soon. I think the project has not yet gotten as much exposure and contributors as, e.g., Mastodon. They seem to be open to new ideas, contributions and help. :)

I think misskey could really use an English about/join page aka joinmisskey.org or some such thing. Maybe we could help make that a reality? It seems crazy to me how little people know about it for how working it is.

@wakest @saper @m4sk1n @syuilo Yes, it'll be nice to have an official Misskey project page like "joinmastodon.org" before all journalists believe "misskey.xyz" is the official page instead of just one server in the network. Some journalists still believe mastodon.social is official Mastodon's page 😐 I've also noticed Misskey connects only to Mastodon - not Friendica, Hubzilla or Pleroma (all ActivityPub). The fix will probably need cooperation of all maintainers of those networks.

@lightone @saper @m4sk1n @syuilo friendica doesn't currently support #ActivityPub, tho they are working on it I think. #Hubzilla still has lots of weird issues federating with #mastodon. Though I am surprised its not working with #Pleroma since they are trying to make their api the same as mastodons so the apps are interchangeable.

@wakest You're right, my mistake. Friendica supports OStatus only for now. And you're right, Hubzilla doesn't federate with Pleroma it seems. I could follow a Misskey account from Hubzilla (but not vice versa). Weird. Needs fixing #federationproblems
