@samsethi Nope, micropayments don't work. They've been endlessly tried by numerous companies and it's never sustainable for anyone involved
@johnonolan "by companies" as you say but @samsethi suggests to implement it without companies. µpayments could never work due to fees, if sats don't have those, couldn't it work?

We have spent 2 years working on making this work. We give every new user a wallet. We give users §5k SATs when they join as they complete onboarding tasks to learn TrueFans. We have one click Apple/Google pay to top up the users wallet. I would rather give a micropayment than a heart, like or thumbs up. We have combined micropayments with ActivityStreams and gamification to reward content owners and allow users to share their time & attention.
