Following a sad life event in my surroundings, I created a 3D figurine of a star child out of love. Currently, I make star children as comfort gifts for parents who have lost a child. This is also the star child in a glass globe.
Naar aanleiding van een verdrietige levensgebeurtenis in mijn omgeving, maakte ik vanuit liefde een 3D beeldje van een sterrenkindje. Momenteel maak ik sterrenkindjes als troostgeschenk voor ouders die een kindje verloren zijn. Zo ook dit sterrenkindje in een glazen bol.

Toch is het een uitdaging om iets kleins en gedetailleerds erop te krijgen. Lezen jullie nog uit papieren boeken en gebruiken jullie daarbij nog een boekenlegger?
Besides the wool paintings and 3D sculptures I create, I also enjoy making these bookmarks. The image I create with wool is on a circle of less than 2 cm. Still, it’s a challenge to add something small and detailed to it. Do you still read from paper books, and do you still use a bookmark?
