I've noticed a persistent issue with using grid and aspect-ratio on mobile. Basically the aspect-ratio, even a basic 4/3, is overflowing the grid instead of resizing with it. I either have to replace grid w/ flex in mobile (and it works) or remove the aspect-ratio completely (and it works).

Has anyone else noticed this??

Can any veteran web devs please boost or help?

I’m thinking of writing a site that will transcode YouTube videos into 3GP format to be played in the browser on older Mac’s.

Only thing is… idk how to get the QuickTime plugin working for Safari when apple don’t offer up the .cab files anymore. Does anyone still have the apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.c file by any chance? #VintageComputing #WebDeveloper #WebDev

Time for a new :

Hi, I'm Michael and I’m on a .

For the past ten years I’ve been a full stack for a company in that sells supplies.

They went from a startup to a well-established brand, then the economy started collapsing.

If you ever consider learning to code and think about doing it with
Webmasters Europe - just don't!

It''s the worst way of learning. The didactic is a nightmare.

It's literally like:

Theory: "You need eggs, flour and milk to bake a cake."

Test: "Now you try: Bake a three-tier-wedding cake with angels and chocolate frosting"

Does anyone have a good example of an ad, webpage, video or other marketing material that does a good job of both *educating* and selling? Ideally about a technical thing?

That’s generally what every pitch I send needs to do, and I’m having a hard time educating briefly enough that it "clicks” for people.
