And paying a bill? You know your #UI / #UX is bad if you have to try to tell people what to do, because they're gonna do the wrong thing quite often. If you have to say "Press TAB" in your instructions, you have already lost.

Nevermind that no normal human ever says the phrase "is populated" to mean they filled something in or entered their information.

It turns out that making your own icon web font is a lot more work than one might think. I'm currently working on assets for the web app I'm building. I'm making it all for my own needs, but I'll likely put this and other bits out under a GPL for others to use. In this icon set I'm only including FOSS third party logos, as that's all I'll associate with now. The idea of making my own icon font actually came from that they generally focus on the same old commercial ones and ignore all the cool things.

slowly building out more of my #nekoweb site!

unsure what I wanna do for displaying buttons/stamps, I'm undecided

so far I've implemented sidebars with overflow scrolling and marquees

I think marquees look neat but as a websurfer it's kind of annoying whenever I have to wait and watch it scroll to see all the images

otoh the overflow boxes don't look as interesting or appealing

I'll include screenshots, plus a screenshot where I just let everything hang out, which looked the worst imo lol
