Some of my effort #today will be spent on altering a speech habit of mine.
I believe the President thrives on attention. I believe he also wants to move with automatic support from #Republicans.

I am going to use the phrase "Republican Administration" instead of his name or "the religious right" or any of the other, more rude phtases that make me feel better.

I think attaching the responsibility for what is happening to the Republican party points straight to the people who choose to look away, to ignore their oaths, and allow the #violation of our #establishedLaw.

I will forever remember who is allowing this outrageous behavior to continue. I am really good at holding a grudge.

#Privacy #security #violation in the #Apple #iOS Weather app. Not sure when exactly they added this "feature", but the last fucking thing in the world I want the person standing next to me in public to be able to see on my phone as I am casually checking the local weather is my fucking exact home address (blurred).

The only way to prevent this is turning off Location Services, which then disables the lock screen weather widgets and current location weather.

To be fair, regarding NAFTA (or the preceding Canada-US free trade agreement), this is nothing new for the USA. Over and over, pretty much every administration since the agreements were signed have implemented protectionist tariffs in violation of the agreements.

Over and over and over, the dispute resolution mechanisms clear Canada of wrongdoing, and order the USA to stop the tariff. Yes, even when the panel is made of 2 Americans and a Canadian.

I think the rest of the world at this point knows the USA's respect for signed agreements lasts exactly as long as they perceive an advantage in doing so.
