Thanks for cluing me inSo I swapped out the two testing <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/NVMe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NVMe</a> drives I was using and reinstalled the original sticks - to have <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/windoz10" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#windoz10</a> demanding for the <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/bitlocker" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bitlocker</a> recovery key. 🤦‍♂️ Well, time to wipe & install <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/windoz11" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#windoz11</a> then. IrishMASMSOk, I spent yesterday afternoon trying to get <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RAID" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RAID</a> configured on my <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/lenovo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lenovo</a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/ThinkPad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ThinkPad</a> <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/P70" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#P70</a> - to no success. I found this video <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyCC1NGe8a8&t=36s" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyCC1NGe8a8&t=36s</a> of the similar <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/p50" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#p50</a> and configuring <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/RAID" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RAID</a> which shows the <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/BIOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BIOS</a> interface but my P70's only show the "non-raid physical discs" I do not have an option for RAID volumes. Note I have upgraded the BIOS to the most recent version on lenovo's web site. FadikkopTL;DR: Hat hier jemand Erfahrung im Erneuern vom Bildschirm eines ThinkPads?Ich hab' am Montag meinen Laptop (t470s) auf Asphalt fallen lassen und seit dem Flackert sein Bildschirm (wird alle paar Sekunden kurz schwarz oder zeigt ein nach unten verschobenes Bild). Dummerweise hatte ich einen Tag davor an einem Externen Monitor ein anderes System installiert, was mir erst die Hoffnung gab, es könnte ein Software-Problem sein. Ich hab' nur ihn und auch wenn ich meistens mit externem Bildschirm arbeite, tut es schon weh, ihm dabei zuzusehen und scheinbar nichts mit Software lösen zu können, jedenfalls tut er das auch im BIOS und in grub. One of the USB ports was dead, and there was nothing obvious on the motherboard that was wrong. So I am going to use the <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/USB" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#USB</a> port from the T530 daughtercard to fix a different ThinkPad I have where the plastic tonged inside the port is broken off. I hate to take these parts to <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/ewaste" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ewaste</a> and figured someone in the various communities could use these parts & would be interested.
