Today's outing took me thru 5 miles of mostly level ground for a total of 2 hours woods time. This is the first significant outing since getting sick in Oct '23, and long covid lungs and toes were ok. The Great Plains is still frozen, but many of the vernal ponds in the area are beginning to have open water. #getoutside #hiking #SpringIsNear
