In January 2021, some of our local landmarks were light-painted green, matching the European Green Capital 2021 theme, while the city lights painted the overcast sky red.

The water is smoothed by the long exposure, reflecting the light in the sky and from homes along the headland.

Lime Bay camping area in the moonlight.

The wildlife certainly manicure the grounds.

Pick your time of year and you'll have it all to yourself. (Be aware, there are /no facilities of any kind/ - take *everything* you need, including water.)

In a rare event, I used a graduated filter at the top to darken the night sky slightly.

Samyang 2/12mm, 25 seconds, iso2000.

A grassy, cleared camping area with sparse trees in the foreground, thicker forest behind. The grass is manicured by wildlife, tree shadows from the moonlight pattern the ground, bare patches of dirt vehicle tracks wander throughout. A long exposure brings out the blue in the night sky, thin streaks of cloud under the stars.
