#MakersHour A1 introduction , project, biopic titld.

Jeff, US coastal northwest, still filling in the embroidered dishtowel with all the characters with giant fruit shaped hats.

Next up probably some piecing. Maybe a quilted project bag more secure than my "Crow Tools" folder.

My creative life biopic title? Maybe "Needles On The Bus" for commute time stitching.

Q5: Someone near and dear has said they don't want you to buy them anything for their birthday, but MAKE something. What are you making, for whom?
A5: Well, I have loved ones who adore it when I mend their clothes. So probably that. Otherwise, I'd be happy to make things for most everyone I'd be wanting to give a birthday gift to, but I'd want to talk to them about what they wanted, and make something with their input, because otherwise I might spend a *lot* of time and energy on something they don't even want. And that seems silly to me when it's easily avoidable.

I'm making a banquet for @Maker_of_Things , with all the things he can't currently eat (or that we can't easily find), but I've managed to make them all gluten, dairy and soy free.

If I could do edible pastry, that would be a start.

A4 from the atoms up... Interesting. *Thinks*

Diamonds. The feed stock is incredibly cheap, and with atoms up assembly it bypasses the need for big and expensive pressure and temperature control machinery. And the returns for selling them would be incredible. Bag of charcoal goes in. Diamonds come out.

Only minor issue is if it has the reliability of a standard 3d printer. The hardness of the botched outputs would make for challenging disposal...
