Can such technology be used on Mars from now on? #InSight would still be alive had it been equipped with such a dust shield.

The #Buddha’s emphasis on reasoning extended to his monastic disciples. In the Vimamsaka Sutta, he instructed monks not to accept him as a teacher blindly but to scrutinise his words & actions. He urged them to observe whether his teachings aligned with reality & whether they led to #freedom from suffering. He taught that #true understanding comes from personal verification, not mere faith. This approach ensured that his followers developed #insight rather than mere belief. (4/11)

Despite his isolation, #KazanSōki gained a reputation as a remarkable #ZenBuddhist master. Occasional seekers & monks would visit him, hoping to learn from his #insight. He offered no formal teachings, only demonstrating his #Naked practice through direct #experience. His life exemplified the #ZenBuddhist ideal of non-attachment & radical simplicity. In later years, his legend grew, inspiring those drawn to the path of severe asceticism & deep communion with #Nature. (4/4)
