I have also started responding to people who text me with just a 'hey' - photos of hay in different forms. I sent a hay pile photo this afternoon & got a - why are you sending me a photo of hay? I said, when you only send me a #hey - I'm only gonna reply with #hay photos from now on.

I've been using an #hey.com email account for the last few years. However, I think it's time to stop paying for something run by DHH.

Any suggestions for a good, preferably European email service? Currently, I'm thinking about #ProtonMail.

Furthermore, I need a replacement for #Basecamp, which I used to manage the bachelor thesis projects of my students. Any suggestions for a good alternative?

I cannot explain why but adding avatar to email addresses in #hey is one of the things that gives me so much satisfaction

Weirdly, in any other email client, I really do not care about the avatar but in HEY, it bugs me when it shows a generic avatar... 🤷
