It looks like I found a quick and dirty solution using deezer-python https://github.com/browniebroke/deezer-python/ to retrieve public playlists content without authentication
So it seems that there is no way to register a new app on developers.deezer.com?!
How am I supposed to automatically download my playlists now?
Any idea of what I am missing?
#Deezer has no integration with #Songkick which itself has none with #lastfm. It's a problem for my migration from #spotify.
My only option is to use #bandintown (link to lastfm) but I don't like their app and prefer the songkick one.

ne me donnent plus envie de financer la plateforme.

Although I've had no response to this, I've worked out something like a solution. #Spotube got me the playlist locally, and it's #songlink facility meant I could go through each track and collate their availability across streaming and purchase providers.
I managed to find all the tracks on #Deezer, so got an embedded playlist working through that service.
Seems to be disagreement online about the relative levels of payment to artists, but at least it's allowing me to #BoycottSpotify

@constancies I'm not familiar with #Deezer but I did make the switch from #Spotify to #Tidal and I've been happy with it.
Tidal links to some third party app that can help migrate your playlists and such, so you don't lose your favorites and such
The "Daily Discovery" is nice on Tidal. Basically, you get 10 to 15 songs you've never played before in a mini-playlist every day.
cancelled my #spotify subscription. Anyone got some less unethical alternative streaming services for me to turn to? I feel like music streaming is pretty inherently unethical but I do find it convenient.
Right now I'm torn between #deezer and #tidal. I don't care about lossless audio, nor discovery algorithms, just something I can use to listen to albums I don't own.
