We were tasked with redesigning a '60s horror novel. I landed on a cosmic horror story inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, blending psychological terror w/ existential philosophy.

TIL: When you have a long enough deployment name, and thus replica set name, your pod name won't have a double "random" prefix at the end but a single one. Partially made of most of the random part of the replica set name + a bit extra.

I just published a new Ansible role that automatically populates host variables with Proxmox-related information from the inventory. This includes node assignment, VM/container type, status, MAC address, QEMU agent status, and resource allocation. For now, it supports a single cluster.

ProxLB 1.0.7 (an opensource DRS alike solution for #Proxmox clusters) is just around the corner!

1.0.7 will be the last version before I'm going to publish the new refactored code base in a modern and object oriented way. Version 1.1.0 squashes some more bugs that were postponed on the current code base and makes the overall future handling much easier (including new features).
