• OFC #Diplomats can be kicked out anytime for any reason and it's common to do so as a gesture of disapproval of someones' foreign policy and alongside banning said personnel from reentry ("persona non grata") is the harshest penalty as per vienna diplomatic convention.

Again, if @europarl_en / @EUCommission found someone daring enough to do #diplomatic work w/o the legal protections then I'd say "good luck"...

• I'd just not do that as a matter of principle given the fact that #CPB isn't even bound to #visa and can decline entry and deport sb. with no legal recourse for the affected individuals!

@TomSullivan the #USA is the only nation that not only doesn't guarantee entry with a valid #Visa (#ESTA is not a visa!) by law but is notorious for randomly banning people from entry even if they have one with 0 recourse.

• #Japan too reserves the right to decline entry even with a visa but I've yet to see reports of people being actually declined randomly (and not for having made false statements when applying for the visa or sth.)…
