New Accessible Game Test Incoming!
Throughout my life, I've explored several #AccessibleGames designed or modded with accessibility in mind: #WorldOfWarcraft with #BlindSlash Mode
#StardewValley with #StardewAccess Mod
#Minecraft with #MinecraftAccess
#Hearthstone with #HearthstoneAccess
Now, I'm absolutely pumped as I prepare to dive into a new game... #DiabloIV
I've heard many claim it's one of the most AccessibleGames out there for people with all kinds of disabilities. That's a rare compliment for any game, but hey, you never know until you try!
I had to open a ticket yesterday about the DiabloIV trial, and they mentioned BlizzardAccessibility email. Not sure if I'll end up writing detailed Accessibility test cases (knowing me, I probably will), but will #Blizzard actually pay attention? Time will tell. Got thoughts on DiabloIV or #BlizzardAccessibility? Drop them below! If I see that they're really responsive to #AccessibilityFeedback, I'll gladly test the game and share any bugs or challenges I encounter!
I'm completely new to #Diablo—never played it even when I was sighted—so let’s get the ball rolling! What should I expect?
I wonder if #StardewValley is available for Linux and if #StardewAccess would work there with Orca? maybe I should give it a try with a VM #blind #A11Y
#StardewValley #StardewAccess The first Time I tried to put something in the Souppod at the Luau-Festival I didn't manage it, but this time I did. Only Thing I did different was not to let me autowalk to it, I also got the best Reaction so unlocked another Achivement. When I first walked to the Pod in my first Year I somehow could walk through it as if it was not there, yesterday I seem to have found the place where I could not walk through it.
#StardewValley seems as if the recent Update broke the "yet another Fishingmod" and I am not ready to try that Fishing Minigame though there is a good Documentation on the #StardewAccess Github for it now. Maybe i should try the other recommended Mod for fishing then.
#StardewValley much Love for the #StardewAccess Devs, they already prepared before for the 1.6.9 Update, yesterday I didn't want to close my Game to update, but after work I can do it and won't have to miss my favorite Game. I also already downloaded Updates for the other Mods I am using that already had one. Hopefully the Rest will follow.
#StardewValley #StardewAccess only thing that bothers me as a #Blind Player is that Events are almost inaccessible. There was an Event in Summer, I forgot the Name, where I had to put something into a SoupPod and I could not manage to do it at all. It could have given me Friendspoints if I had managed it. On the Eggfest i managed to cheat my Way to the Shop where I could get Strawberries but I didn't feel comfortable warping my Way to it.
#StardewValley yesterday I bought animals and I didn't leave the animaldoors open, but they went out anyway. that seems so weird as I thought they'd stay inside if the animaldoors are shot. How to get them back in as a #blind Person using #StardewAccess Mod?
So if you've wanted to try Stardew Access but have trouble with getting the mods up and running, there's now the Accessible Stardew Setup installer. It installs SMAPI, Stardew Access, and its dependencies. If you're using the Steam copy, it will even modify your game options path with a single click.

Like I said, I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I figured I would make the post because I figured it out by happy accident, and I haven’t heard anyone else mention it. Just thought I’d try and help. #GoodMorning #StardewAccess
Not sure if anyone doesn’t already know this, but I just found out yesterday and I’m super excited. If any blind players have been sleeping on #StardewValley, now would be a good time to update your mods, especially #StardewAccess
