Jake in the desertFor this <a href="https://c.im/tags/GrindayFriday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GrindayFriday</a>, something that came out just five years ago but should already be considered a classic. Seattle, Washington's CAUSTIC WOUND gave us this brutal, crushing riffy LP 'Death Posture' in 2020. They have a new one coming end of April-- they're a band to watch. Cropping the cover here, as it's a bit morbid, fair warning. Few songs are over or even reach two minutes long. Jake in the desertI had this badass Soundgarden "Kickstand" shirt around 1995 probably that was done by an artist called Pushead. I wore it til it fell apart. Wish I still had it 😂 They sell for a lot now (see attached sold eBay listing, not mine). That back graphic! 🔥 What a SONG, too. Jake in the desertSoundgarden's 'Superunknown' still sounds just as amazing as it did when I bought the CD from Circuit City in 1994 when I was 14. Easily one of the greatest albums of all time. That day, I bought my first 3 CDs ever -- the others being Jar of Flies and Versus. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, this is some crazy punk and metal stuff. I do like supporting underground artists when I can.Gee Tee is an underground sensation from Australia. Lo-fi, maxed out catchy little punk snippets. They make fast, catchy gonzo synth punk songs about aliens.
