Serge Matveenko ♻️☮️Ⓐ<p>Regarding Python 3.7 support in libraries. I don't think keeping it is worth it even if there are still downloads of that dependency for Python 3.7.</p><p>If somebody still have 3.7 in production it won't change unless they get a "kick" of some kind. I mean, they still will be using 3.7 in two or three months as they do now.</p><p>The only way to make them upgrade is to break their systems with a dependency that dropped Python 3.7 support.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Python</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Python37" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Python37</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/EndOfLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EndOfLife</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/OpenSource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenSource</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Programming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Programming</span></a></p>

Continued thread

'Rebuild the World' tomorrow is due to shipping 8.2.0 as default, rather than 7.3.0. So, in spite of most of my apps working fine, I'll be re-compiling all of them, with the exception of my which I've already compiled with GCC 8.2.0.

Anyway enough messing about, with a few minor things to check tomorrow, that's me done for tonight (:*

Nos da!;*
