Examples like https://www.handsonmechanics.org/ supported by ASEE highlight work happening at the grassroots level which could benefit from additional support from #OpenEd experts and support staff, and building connections with groups like these can be valuable!
Disciplinary associations do a whole lot of stuff... and these activities offer opportunities for advocates to bring in discussions about open education (and open access). So how are these associations engaging in #OpenEd work? This was the focus of Kristin's original inquiry.
