First bit of goldwork done on the Hand&Lock Bernadette Banner kit

this little star took ages despite only being the size of my nail. Each bit of gold check is cut to just a couple of millimetres. It was finicky as fuck and torture on the eyes. I loved every minute of it

Ich glaub ich fahr heute nochmal ins Schreibwarengeschäft und besorg mir ein #Tagebuch.

Erstmal will ich einfach wieder sehr viel mehr mit der #Hand #schreiben, weil der neue #Füller so toll ist...

Und zweitens denke ich, das könnte mir beim Sortieren der #Gedanken helfen...

Mal sehen was es da so alles gibt. Ich glaube aber schon, dass sich da was finden lässt :)

It is a photo from a good few years ago, but it's one of my favorites. It's my son holding hands with his Grandad, @PollyL 's father.

It was processed quite a bit to give it the weathered skin look.
