Large Format Projectionist<p>My workaround for the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Chigee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Chigee</span></a> display not pairing with my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GrapheneOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrapheneOS</span></a> phone has WORKED!!</p><p>When I get back "to normal" I will figure out why the pairing keeps failing. For now, though, I have nav, music, telephony, and sms on the moto.</p><p><enormous, echoing sigh of relief></p>

Is there any fdroid or other app that gives some kind of similar eyes free feature? I don't want to look at the screen to turn on the light.</p>

Daniel Lakeland<p>Preliminary report from the first few hours of <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/GrapheneOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrapheneOS</span></a> on my Pixel 9a.</p><p>Phone itself is nice, as long as you're ok with no headphone jack. It's a little smaller than my older one, and i'm a little more fumbly with the keyboard.</p><p>Install went fine on Linux + Chromium using web-install per the website instructions. Literally took maybe 20 mins total including reading instructions.</p><p>I downloaded F-droid and signal to my laptop and sent it over USB so I could install apps I want. That was easy</p>

The new <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fairphone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fairphone</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Fairphone5" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fairphone5</span></a> looks a phenomenal bargain in comparison to a pixel. Also looked at <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/nothingphone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nothingphone</span></a> anyone know if its possible to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/degoogle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>degoogle</span></a> these phones completely? It seems crazy that buying a Google phone seems the best method to reliably degoogle!! Graphene team doing the lords work.</p>

Beauty!</p>

La réduction de la surface d’attaque et la fréquence des mises à jour sont impressionnantes.<br>Pour la partie Gmail, j’utilise pas, mais le playstore est vite indispensable en effet. J’essaye de prendre autant de choses que possible sur f-Droid, mais bon... ;)<br>Pour quiconque veut un système Android super sûr et dé-googlisé, GrapheneOS est un must. Charge à l’utilisateur de ne pas élargir trop sa surface d’attaque en dégradant la conf ou en installant des softs peu sûrs.</p>

And DDG's AI is dangerously wrong.</p><p>For phones, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GrapheneOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrapheneOS</span></a>, just out of the box, is pretty darned good.</p><p>I found <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> had slightly fewer niggly-problems than <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Mint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mint</span></a>. I'd consider that an equal endorsement of both, as my setup is weird.</p><p>All in all, a great list, sharing to my entire family.</p>

Perfektní pro někoho, kdo to myslí vážně se soukromím a chce bezpečný telefon bez Google sledovaček.</p><p>Telefon má známky běžného používání a trochu zlobí konektor na nabíjení, ale jinak šlape v pohodě.</p><p>Kdyby někomu udělal radost a využil ho naplno, dej vědět do zpráv.
