These are basically the most advanced point cognitive good-old-fashioned-a-i got to in my opinion, concluding with Sandewall's 2 unpublished open access books in 2014. #gofai #ai #cai

I listened to another presentation about the Content Authenticity Initiative today.

It feels like platform lock-in. Either it will burn in a watermark that is robust enough to pass through processing and damage the original content, or it won't work when the metadata is stripped from the file.

It sounds like every authoritarian government’s dream to be able to prove the provenance of a piece of media. Am I wrong? #CAI #ContentAuthenticityInitiative

Negli ultimi tempi non ho potuto che apprezzare la svolta impressa da Lacasella e Albino Ferrari agli organi di comunicazione del CAI, portando al centro del dibattito temi di ecologia politica. L'avere attaccato frontalmente l'infrastrutturazione e la turistificazione della montagna e l'avere messo il fuoco sulla questione del #CambiamentoClimatico sono le colpe che le componenti reazionarie entro il #CAI e gli esponenti politici, con incarichi ministeriali, delle consorterie economiche non possono perdonare ai due. La polemica finta sulle#CrociDiVetta è solo un pretesto. Se le reazioni di #Salvini e #Santanchè sono logiche la mancata difesa di Lacasella e Albino Ferrari da parte degli organi direttivi del CAI, e l'avvallo al massacro mediatico dei due, è nel migliore dei casi vigliacchiera e nel peggiore infame complicità.

Commercially available information, or #CAI, has grown in such scale that it has begun to replicate the results of intrusive surveillance techniques once used on a more targeted and limited basis, the report found.
