The disgraced (previously found guilty of electoral fraud) Mayor of Tower Hamlets is planning to spend millions on ripping up infrastructure designed to reduce ratrunning traffic from mostly outside the borough. Residents will once again be plagued with noise and criminality and school children walking to or between the four school campuses will be again subject to danger and pollution.

These include pedestrian areas, pocket parks, bike lanes, and new planting that covers an area from the iconic Arnold Circus in the West through to Cambridge Heath Road in the East.

I visited the @vagina_museum today to see their exhibition on #endometriosis and I thoroughly recommend it.
Apparently only 54% of those in the UK have heard of the condition, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of shouting about it.

If you're in Tower Hamlets this evening, please consider attending this protest at the new Town Hall to protect these liveable street improvements. Old Bethnal Green Road has three schools on it. Children are particularly vulnerable to particulates from tires/breaks/exhausts. Turning it back into a rat run so selfish people can save a few minutes in traffic is not worth endangering their future health.
