You know what'd be nice? If one single companion in BG3 wasn't a fountain of drama. Like, wtf were the mindflayers thinking, gathering up the most burdened people in Faerun?

It'd be nice if just one companion was like: Oh sure, I want to get home, but I have a strong family network, and I'm confident they'll take care of things while I'm gone. Let's get this thing figured out. I'm here to help with whatever you need.

I reimagined #bg3 #bard to update it to pop musical attacks. Paralyzing Polka is Hold All. Every PC, enemy, and NPC is nailed down or prone. Devastating Dubstep, all enemies are lulled into the beat unable to roll for initiative, and when the beat drops it delivers 5d20 of damage to all enemies. Sapping SKA spell makes all enemies take a long rest, prone and unable to defend themselves. Muahahahaha!

l'interfaccia col pad è spiazzante ma sembra tutto fattibile, mi piace l'impostazione RPG puro con tanto di lancio di dadi (scelta coraggiosa) e i combattimenti a turni, a dirla tutta non mi spiego il successo di un gioco con questa impostazione (di nicchia?)

I had a moment of… choice. Funnily enough, a similar choice that lead to me breaking my oath. A mystery elf in the Shadows, a corpse he wanted to torture… and I said no. This Urge, whatever it is, shall have no more control over me than my oath did.

I have no desire to return to my oath — my will is now my own. But perhaps… I will embrace something else that has been calling to me since the death of that bard in our camp. I’ve been hoarding instruments, not really knowing why. Maybe I will try to play one of them.

There's no way, just NO WAY that even after 2100+ played hours of #BG3, I still find new hidden stuff in Act 1. I thought I had snooped through every nook and cranny, but apparently no.

#BG3 thought - every time I do an Origins playthrough, I wish there was a way to simulate having a Tav: just this one good-hearted, chaotic NPC who (based on my play style) would wrestle God to protect a street urchin, but loots everything everything that isn't nailed down (and some things that are.)

Right, in all seriousness, I've finished scripting chapter 4. I'm rewarding myself with a couple of hours of #BG3

I'm giving Baldur's Gate 3 another shot, and so far I don't hate it.

DESPITE the fact that Lae'zel's scar is on the wrong side on the loading screen.
I mean, what the hell kind of sloppy operation are they running?

(also, multiplayer setup is hella buggy. C'mon, they've had 2 years to make this game not be so rough around the edges!)

But I'm kind of having fun this time around... at least for now. We'll see if I make it further than my first try
