OMG. So end of last year there was an issue with #Azure Functions where the runtime doesn't pin the version of the crypto library they're using. The Crypto library maintainers made a change and the runtime broke because it's not pinned.

Months later, it's not fixed, and #Microsoft are still blaming the crypto lib maintainers!

There's a lovely comment on the issue from the lib maintainer on the Azure issue here:
