5 years ago on March 14-15, 2020, I took what turned out to be the last in-person FIRC (Flight Instructor Renewal Course) offered by AOPA Air Safety Institute (ASI). @ai6yr I think these days it would be hell to be a cross-country driver. There is always extreme WX somewhere. I know if I was still driving, with what I know about #aviation WX, I'd be watching it all. But also, those guys are pushed harder and harder to get the trailer empty so they can turn another load ASAP.
