You can prove your identity on Mastodon with the KBFS, like so, if you care to: https://keybase.pub/todb/README.txt
@todb It's just like a hacker to use a proofing infrastructure in reverse :-)
@todb Since anyone can post that link, how does it function as a proof?
@datawench Well, the content says that I am me. Only I (or someone with my private key) can write to https://keybase.pub/todb , so if you believe that https://keybase.io/todb is who he says he is, then the assertion that he is also todb@mastodon.xyz should hold true.
I suppose someone could post that same link, but it wouldn't come from todb@mastodon.xyz. It would come from somewhere else.
@todb identity proven :yum:
