Instance humblr.social is now silenced as it is a NSFW instance and a lot of untagged content was coming into our federated timeline.
Silence only means it won't show in the federated timeline. You can still see profiles, follow people and interact with them.
@status Is untagged content something Mastodon is working on? I mean, beyond punishing an instance by silencing it, which doesn't seem effective.
Since every instance has its own rules, tag management could shred the fediverse into islands, each silencing all others by default.
Surely there's a better incentive model for proper tagging. Maybe a game system of ranks and "rewards"? Or, perhaps allow readers to add and vote on the proper tags?
Generalistic and moderated instance. All opinions are welcome, but hate speeches are prohibited. Users who don't respect rules will be silenced or suspended, depending on the violation severity.
