@feb2772 I'm like you. It's always been difficult for me to get to sleep, my brain won't shut off. And the tinnitus I've developed has made it much worse.
@feb2772 The results of getting older, and having worked around jet aircraft for a couple years. You would think you'd get used to it, but nope.
@shatteredgears I try not to think about it. It is always there though, no matter what. It was pretty low for a few years, but got worse after a really bad head cold.
@feb2772 Mine gets worse if I'm in a noisy environment for more than an hour or two. The new "open office plan" BS was pure hell until I got permission to work from home. I wouldn't notice it until I went somewhere quiet, like home, and then it was 3x worse for at least 12 hours.

@shatteredgears Sorry to hear you have tinnitus too. It is the worst! I would pretty much give anything to not have it.
