CSA & toxic masculinity

every time i read about a woman raping a boy there's a bunch of gross-ass men who are like " i wish that happened to me" or "lol lucky kid" and it makes me see red. the idea that those boys could be traumatized never occurs to them bc they think boys & men are supposed to be mindless sex machines with no feelings

@Cyclideon You make good points, in our humble defense, I dont think many purposely mean for it to be toxic, but many of us remember having serious crushes on our teachers as young boys and it made for.. awkward moments. We don't consider the abuse until later. And many of us are arrogant "oh that would never happen to me because I would consent or run away" and then we fall to our base instincts and project that expectation onto all boys, removing agency from the woman.

@Cyclideon I think its important that men hear its abuse. I didn't even realize it until I was older, falling into the whole "noice" schtick.
