Škoda 15T is a pretty bad idea as a tram, quite ugly, heavy and full of rather unnecessary specific design choices. But this LED panel reflection on the ceiling metal pane is just lovely.

I had few my own videos and shots of some Negrelli viaduct trains on the last day before the reconstruction, but I found some lady on youtube that has done it few orders of magnitude better.

(I saw her there while taking own pictures and wondered who she was. 👋)
#trains (Yeah, I'm trying to push this hashtag a little.)
#publicTransit & #trains poll:
Forward or backward facing seats? (Or sideways, which are not common outside of subway cars, but happen :))
I just love my backward facing seats, it feels so much more pleasant.
Ah. You know what, just follow me on @pony. Screw it. If I want to learn anything about this thing, I must run my own.
One thing is not like the other two.
(I'll boost some crap from my play-account that I'd write here normally, you probably still shouldn't follow it.)
First impression of running own instance…
…it is quite pointless. Unless I want to run a followbot and annoy the hell out of other people by needlessly bothering them with a notification about it, there are very few options to populate the timeline.
if federation and the distributed nature of the network are supposed to be a major feature, there is some work to do. There was an issue, #1589, but it appears to be dead. Hm. Will think after some 🥃.
What to get as an ADSL modem? Are there some USB options or anything? Make it simple. Reliable. #question
This is still me. I'm just playing. Not sure if I want to use this account, so maybe ignore me for a moment :)
I think Vultr has like 3 times nicer admin UI than Linode, but the new Linode is previewing isn't that bad either. Like, in the end, I should be using Azure, AWS or something, but you know, I'm a cheapskate and it doesn't make much sense for me to do so.
Hosting a Mastodon instance does not seem to be a lot of fun. I always thought about any running a server software to be basically a prolonged controlled collapse, but here, I'm not sure if any of the two adjectives actually apply.
Also, this is some serious magic.
Is it just me, or does the Mastodon[1] deployment guide neglect to tell you to do rbenv init?

Argh, I'm getting mad at my ADSL modem/router/WiFi AP thingie again. Looks like the RA deamon just died again and there were no RA and therefore no IPv6. I want to throw it away or something.
That cheap bourbon from Lidl is actually quite decent. Who'd have guessed.
The reconstruction here can't really begin soon enough, I feel. (I wanted to show you Hostivař as an example of how terribly can something built a year ago look like, but screw it. It's just shit.)
Installed OSMC on a raspberry I had in the supplies, but it can't really handle DVB-T through that tvheadend thing it uses. It's close, but it just isn't powerful enough. Not sure how to deal with that, maybe it would work with a different back end.
Maybe I could get that Vero thingie OSMC itself is selling.
I just need something to remind me I don't want to shop in Alza even when it's the easiest and fastest option to get some stuff I urgently need.
Sigh.
Good plan guys, I'm just thinking... maybe that's not exactly how it works.
