If you use Spotify to check out new music and haven't turned off "Normalize volume - Set the same volume level for all songs" in settings, then do so now.
The reason so many songs sound bad on there is because of that for the most part.

In other ways, it's a massive, ubiquitous tool of surveillance.

It's so wonderful to speak to someone, to hear their voice.
I think we have got away from that in our world of total asynchronicity with textual conversations. Interleaving sentences from several conversations. The background stress of trying to read context from phrasing and the occasional emoji.
