Remind me of the version number of the first release branded as Nextcloud?
I've been running an instance since version 13, in daily use by myself and my wife for calendar, contacts and files. (We use many other features semi-regularly.)
I used @crits 's scripts to get it up and running and tweaked nicely. Thank you, Carsten! My instance has been running 24x7 since, apart from short outages to perform an SSD upgrade, multiple #PHP and #MariaDB upgrades and of course Nextcloud version bumps. All of this is doable for someone with a degree of familiarity with Linux.
My instance is available on the Internet over HTTPS (thanks to #LetsEncrypt) via a broadband router in bridge mode and #IPFire (heavily geo-blocked) running on a small Celeron with four network ports.
I'm very grateful to @Karlitschek and @nextcloud for having the ethical strength to say "no!" and fork. Nextcloud has allowed me and many others to #deGoogle our lives.

Time flies! My work directly depended on the availability of #NextCloud throughout this entire period :)
