Unfortunately their mastodon server hasn't been set up yet, since the security incident.

@mvgorcum @nextcloud @matrix So when the instance where a user is registered is down we cannot follow them?
@nextcloud @matrix Strangely I am not able to follow them (I follow and it now says "unfollow" but if I check my followees it's not added). If I go on "https://mastodon.matrix.org/@matrix" I get an error 500.
