Why I start hating to build free software are comments like these:

"Gadgetbridge always fetch wrong data from my watch. It seems like there is no plan to solve this issue. I'm totally disappointed."

Any idea how to deal with people who use software that was created by volunteers in their free time, and then complain and demand?

Who in their right mind thought that connecting docking stations to laptops via USB-C cables was a good idea? And who removed the screws from the video connectors? Why does everything have to be so flimsy?

Just a quick test of the downloadable ROM of with subpar hardware. I was a little bit hesitant with regard to the controls, but I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to test the version and for the cartridge to arrive.

Der 17. Januar 2020 wird ein Freudentag. Neue Platte von und neue Platte von , beide am selben Tag. Ich bin jetzt schon ganz hibbelig!

Use #gitlab, they said. It’s Free Software, they said. They will respect your privacy. They’re the good ones. #WhereIsMySurprisedFace

The German version is much more prosaic.

One of my audience lingers after I have finished my story.
"I missed the start, where's that from?"
"Nowhere, I made it up myself," I reply.
He looks baffled. "Is that allowed?"
In some other reality I am cool; say "No" and walk away.
In this, I open my wallet. "I have a permit."

Thanks to the app I am able to use a smartwatch/fitness tracker without relying on a closed source app which uploads my personal data to some shady cloud. gadgetbridge.org/

There is an open source software to sort channels (github.com/PredatH0r/ChanSort). It was easier to:
* export the list
* boot Windows
* download the software
* edit the list
* import the list
than to use the TV's UI. And the TV even dares to call itself "smart". What a train wreck!
