@mperham I'm wary of emergency powers and the war framework, I bet disbanding the US military would help

@amsomniac Yep, DoD is #1 polluter. Disbanding would be unlikely but yes to huge drawdowns and a halt to overseas activity. Fossil fuel should have quickly rising tax. Military budget needs to move to energy.

@amsomniac good, but wildfires will burn more. Need lots more carbon sinks, like ocean algae.
