@AVBodge @mistermantas nah, Windows is more like the conservative side; the dark side would be, like, gentoo

@cpsdqs @AVBodge windows has a dark mode, it’s really not that conservative.

@mistermantas @AVBodge I feel like all the backwards compatibility and holding onto existing stuff is kind of holding it back; prime example of this being IE

@cpsdqs @AVBodge it’s kind of nice being able to do stuff you could 10-15 years ago

perhaps I would do it differently but it has its upsides

IE is just there it’s not even default anymore

@mistermantas @AVBodge I'm saying they should 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔩𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 of like, not having a totally weird OS structure that's just hacks upon hacks and having something a little more sensible, like every other major operating system. Backwards compatibility shouldn't be their main objective xD

@cpsdqs @AVBodge i guess backwards compatability is enterprise’s main objective

@mistermantas @AVBodge eh, for enterprise it's more like not ever updating except once in a blue moon
